My family has lived in Charles County since 2013. We chose to build our home and village here due to the beautiful diversity and school community. I am a graduate of Montgomery County Public School and a proud HBCU graduate from Kentucky State University where I earned my criminal justice degree and a Master's of Science in Administration of Justice and Security. 

As a Charles County resident, I have both witnessed and experienced inequities which have fueled me to drive various grassroots efforts to shift the dynamic of power so that communities and parents are partners in transforming our education system and county. Our kids are worth fighting for which is why I am running for Charles County School Board of Education.

I am the founder of Charles County Moms of Color and the state wide group Maryland Moms of Color. I know what it takes to create pathways for people to deepen connection with each other, build trust, invest in one another, and work together.

I am wife of a retired Army Veteran, a mom of three wonderful kids, two bonus kids, two dogs, and some chickens. I have a strong team behind me and I'm ready to work for our children, our community, and Charles County public schools.
